INNOBIO is highlighting its DurOmega® DHA Powder, a microencapsulated omega-3 derived from algae for food, beverage and supplements. This product is especially useful for the manufacturers who want to introduce DHA in their products but face problems like oxidation, off-odors, handling difficulties, and uneven distribution.
DHA is applied in many products related to brain, vision, and cardiovascular health, and consumers demand for plant-based omega-3 sources is growing. DurOmega® DHA Powder uses microalgae as its DHA source, thus providing a fish-free solution for powdered drinks, tablets, capsules, gummies, nutrition bars, jellies and baked goods.
Several DHA Grades for Different Formulas

Algal DHA with a Fish-Free Source
DurOmega® DHA Powder is derived from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. rather than fish sources. The ingredient is derived from fermented microalgae and as a result, it can be used in fish-free and vegan product applications and replaces the marine-sourced omega 3 ingredients.
