Application Case: Candy Dusting Powder

As candy dusting powder, encapsulated citric acid boasts exceptional moisture resistance. It effectively inhibits moisture absorption during candy production and storage, markedly lowering the risk of adverse chemical reactions like sugar inversion. Additionally, it imparts a long-lasting sour flavor. INNOBIO’s encapsulated citric acid stayed dry even when open at room temperature for one month, showcasing outstanding real-world application performance.

Test results show microencapsulation technology reduces citric acid’s moisture absorption capacity in humid and hot environments, effectively extending product shelf life.

At 35℃ and 75% RH, mixed INNOBIO’s encapsulated citric acid and alkaline source materials were sealed for storage. Results show no gas generation or bag swelling after 20 days, effectively boosting moisture resistance, preventing premature inter-component reactions, and ensuring stable properties.
