The effects of dietary L-isoleucine deficiency on livestock and poultry are significant. It negatively impacts the growth performance, ketone body traits, and intramuscular fat content of swine, hindering their overall development and quality. In breeding hens, this deficiency significantly affects feed intake, resulting in body weight loss and a reduction in egg-laying performance, which can have detrimental impacts on poultry farming productivity.
